“I walk down the path. My whole being is engaged.
I carve into the enveloping light.
There is an overwhelming sense of eternity.
A vision holds my step and I look, for a long time.”

Pauline’s Interview on CBS Sunday Morning (starts at 1 minute 50 seconds)
“I have been featured on CBS Sunday Morning Show of Nov 30, 2025, Cézanne in Provence: Walking in the artist’s footsteps. I had the joy to teach watercolor to the journalist Seth Doane in the Bibemus quarries where I run art classes regularly in partnership with the Office of Tourism of Aix-en-Provence.”

“Painting in contact with nature is for me to celebrate its presence and translate the living forces that I perceive. I stop in front of a patterned configuration. What I look at feeds me and transforms my imagination which must retain the essentials. This will only happen once. My touch is percussive, it continues the beat of this world. The trees rise and wait. Sainte-Victoire questions us differently every day about the eternal by changing the tone of its atmosphere.”
